Da diverso tempo l’unico Gorillaz in carne e ossa, Damon Albarn, asserisce che il 2016 vedrà la luce un nuovo album della band che nel 2011, solo un anno dopo Plastic Beach, era stata dichiarata sciolta (qualsiasi cosa voglia dre sciogliere una band di un solo elemento).
Per certa è stata data la partecipazione, tra gli altri, di De La Soul, Snoop Dog, Vic Mensa e Jean Michelle Jarre. Ebbene stamane sull’account twitter del gruppo:

Insomma questa storia in pieno stile Kill Bil starebbe ad annunciare che le cose per il quinto album dei Gorillaz (ancora non è stato annunciato il titolo anche se verrebbe da pensare che sia appunto The Book of Noodle) sono pronte e vista la grossa importanza che ha sempre rivestito la parte grafica nel progetto, sembrerebbe proprio che ci si debba preparare ad un altro discone!
