Jane è un nome che torna spesso nelle canzoni di Nick Drake, stavolta viene fuori un pezzo dopo 40 anni che ha il titolo di Reckless Jane, scritto insieme a Beverly Martyn da Drake un mese prima di morire.
“The song came out of a bit of fun,” ha dichiarato la Martyn all’Indipendent, “We tried to think of all the things we could rhyme with Jane, but ‘hear her laughing like a drain’ didn’t make the cut!”.
L’album della Martyn, che contiene questo inedito, uscirà il 22 Aprile. Certo, avremmo voluta sentirla cantare anche da Nick.
